Aggie Mental Health is a campuswide mental health campaign supporting student mental health and well-being. We bring together students, scholars, staff, faculty and campus affiliates to collectively raise mental health awareness at UC Davis. We promote mental health that centers the lived experiences of our diverse student population.
This campaign is a collaboration between various departments in Student Affairs, including Health Education and Promotion and the Public Health Sciences peer program. Our partners include the Mental Health Task Force, the Aggie Compass Basic Needs Center, Office of Student Support and Judicial Affairs, Student Health and Counseling Services and others who are also instrumental to the work being done to collectively make an impact on mental health via the campuswide commitment to the UCOP Equity in Mental Health funding plan.
This campaign was developed through direct collaboration with students. Each step of the process included student feedback via surveys, focus groups and collaboration which will continue as we grow and develop over time.
