Aggie Mental Health Incentive Program

This May (Mental Health Awareness Month), you can win a custom Aggie Mental Health t-shirt or UC Davis coloring and activity book! The first 1,000 UC Davis students who show proof of completing the Question, Persuade, and Refer (QPR) suicide prevention training to the Aggie Mental Health Ambassadors will receive a prize. This training can help save lives, and we want as many Aggies trained as possible.

Why QPR?

As a college student, knowing what to do in a suicide crisis can help you save the life of a friend, classmate, roommate or even a family member. Quality education empowers all people, regardless of their background, to make a positive difference in the life of someone they know.

How to Take the Training

To access the training:

Proof of Completion

Upon completion of the online training, you should receive an email certificate of course completion showing that you have successfully completed the training. If you do not receive that email or are not able to access it, you can log into the training module and access the certificate there. The certificate can be shown digitally on a device (PDF, screenshot, etc.) or printed.

Prize Pickup

Incentives will be awarded in person on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last with proof of completion of the QPR training. To redeem an incentive, a student must present their ID matching the name on the certificate of course completion to the Aggie Mental Health Ambassadors. Ambassadors will be tabling every weekday throughout the month of May at the following days, times and locations:

  • Monday and Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Memorial Union
  • Tuesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Silo
