UC Davis Resources
Find Your Community at UC Davis
A great first step toward creating a supportive circle of friends, mentors and allies within the larger UC Davis community is to visit community and retention centers and programs. Whether you’re new to campus or a continuing student, Student Affairs offers welcoming spaces that both affirm and provide opportunities to explore intersecting identities. All students are welcome in these spaces and can stop by to get academic support, find out about student organizations, be social or just chill.
Student Health and Wellness Services
Getting the support you need—physically and mentally—is really important when you are a student. It isn’t always easy to take the best care of yourself when you have a demanding course load, extracurricular activities and relationships with friends or a significant other to manage. This page offers resources for health, fitness and nutrition as well as student disability services.
Student Life Services
Student Life, Campus Community and Retention Services, often shortened to "Student Life," encompasses a wide range of programs and services that serve our large and diverse undergraduate and graduate student body. This page offers resources from tutoring and career development to the many cultural, community and retention centers on campus.
Gender Care Team
The Gender Care Team is a group of medical and mental health providers at Student Health and Counseling Services who have specialized training in addressing needs of trans students. They support trans students by connecting them to resources and supporting self-defined well-being as determined by the patient.
LGBTQIA Resource Center
The LGBTQIA Resource Center connects students with affirming health and wellness resources, from counseling to peer support groups and crisis care hotlines. There is also a curated list of resources that centers the experience of the transgender community on campus and provides information and relevant resources to support student success, community and belonging. These resources are available to all UC Davis students.
Open Access Resources Library
The directory of resources from Healthy UC Davis can help promote mental and emotional well-being by creating a greater understanding of mental health concerns and demystifying services, supports, and professionals who are trained to help.
Thriving in Graduate School
This resource teaches graduate students how to cultivate well-being in their personal, academic and professional life. This year-long program includes a weekly newsletter and frequent in-person workshops and informal events.
Confidential Resources for Reporting Hate and Bias
Hate and bias have no place at UC Davis. If you have experienced or witnessed an incident of hate or bias or discrimination or harassment, there are resources available for you. This page offers you resources you can talk to confidentially as well as directions on how to report hate and bias to the university.
Sexual Violence Prevention and Response Resources
The University of California is committed to creating and maintaining a community where all individuals who participate in University programs and activities can work and learn together in an atmosphere free of harassment, exploitation, or intimidation. The University prohibits sexual violence, including sexual assault, relationship violence and stalking; such behavior violates University policy and may also violate the law. This page offers a range of confidential and non-confidential resources for direct support and reporting options.
