In partnership with the Equity in Mental Health Fund, Healthy UC Davis is seeking project proposals that support the health and well-being of UC Davis community members. In the 2023 cycle, several funding opportunities are available:

Student Equity in Mental Health Programming Fund

This fund is available to current undergraduate, graduate, and professional program students. The maximum amount of funds that can be requested is $5,000. Learn more about this funding opportunity hereApplications are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the academic year. 

Proposals should address equity in mental health for students and consider one or more of the following:

  • Directly supporting underserved students
  • Promoting a culture of well-being on campus
  • Promoting student academic success
  • Providing clear measurable outcomes

Equity in Mental Health Grants (Student Affairs Units are highly encouraged to apply)

This fund is available to all current UC Davis affiliated community members. The maximum amount of funds that can be requested is $20,000. This application closed on Friday, Feb. 17, 2023 at 5 p.m. Please check back in winter quarter 2025 to apply during the next funding cycle.

Healthy UC Davis Project Grants

This fund is available to all current UC Davis affiliated community members. Projects of all sizes will be reviewed. Learn more about the funding opportunity on the Healthy UC Davis website. This application closed on Friday, Feb. 17, 2023 at 5 p.m. Please check back in winter quarter 2025 to apply during the next funding cycle.

Projects should address one or more of Healthy UC Davis’ strategic goals: 

  • Creating comprehensive, integrative and collaborative leading practice programs
  • Providing UC Davis community members with support, opportunity, information and tools to engage in healthy behaviors
  • Advocating for policies, institutional practices and a built environment that promotes health and well-being
  • Continuously examining, implementing and evaluating practices that improve the well-being of our community
  • Aligning and leveraging communication resources and messaging to ensure coordinated outreach efforts
  • Promoting opportunities for engagement, connectedness and community supporting equity in mental health initiatives for UC Davis students
