Students Behind the Campaign

Aggie Mental Health Ambassadors

Look out for Aggie Mental Health Ambassadors as they spread awareness about mental health on campus! You will see them at large events such as orientations, stand-alone pop-up events in resource centers or floating around campus, checking in with Aggies. Be sure to stop by and see what mental health and well-being resources and tips are available to you or simply stop by to chat with a fellow student! AMH Ambassadors can help you find your community at UC Davis. Contact AggieMentalHealth@ucdavis.edu for more information.

  • Looking to become a Mental Health Ambassador?
  • Aggie Mental Health Ambassadors are employed under Health Promotion within Student Health and Counseling Services. If you are interested in becoming an ambassador, keep a lookout for positions on Handshake.

Mental Health Student Coordinators

Mental Health Student Coordinators also work to improve mental health on campus. They also work under Health Promotion, hand in hand with the Aggie Mental Health campaign. In contrast to the highly visible outreach that Aggie Mental Health Ambassadors do, these coordinators work behind the scenes on mental health projects and initiatives. For more information contact Health Promotion.

  • Looking to become a Mental Health Student Coordinator?
  • Health Promotion employs three (3) Mental Health Student Coordinators. If any positions are open, recruitment takes place on Handshake in Winter Quarter to hire student coordinators for the next academic year. These positions are responsible for assisting with projects related to mental health on campus. Some example projects include creating a mini-grant to fund clubs to reduce loneliness, organizing therapy fluffies and creating content for the Aggie Mental Health Instagram.
